Porpoises!

Porpoises are the smallest of the toothed whales, growing to about 1.5 meters (5 feet) in length.
Porpoises usually swim just below the water.
The fin on the back, if they have one, is small and triangular in shape. Porpoises feed primarily on fish. There are only 6 species. Porpoises and Dolphins live close to land and this brings them in contact with people. Unfortunately, this results in many of them being killed for food, trapped in fishing nets, or poisoned by sea pollution. They are friendly and intelligent. About 6 months after mating, the female, called a cow, bears a single calf. Like other mammals, the porpoise cow nurses her young.
Porpoises are sometimes called dolphins, which they resemble. Unlike dolphins, however, porpoises have a rounded head with a short blunt beak.
The most familiar porpoise is the harbor porpoise.
